If you're feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or simply not yourself, I want you to know you are not alone.

Your feelings are real and a valid part of living. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being and impacts how we think, feel, and act. If you're currently dealing with significant distress, functional impairment, or feel you are unable to cope with daily stresses, it may be a sign of a mental health concern that should be addressed. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength and is essential to your overall health and quality of life.

You feel like you are…

  • Trapped in a cycle of despair, with a pervasive sense of emptiness and hopelessness.

  • Drowning in a sea of anxiety and fear, unable to catch your breath.

  • Completely alone in a crowded room, isolated even when surrounded by people.

  • A ship without a rudder, drifting aimlessly without control or purpose.

  • Overwhelmed or burnt out by a never-ending to-do list.

  • Self-defeating and critical.

Together, we’ll explore your past and present in order to overcome challenges, achieve goals, and create lasting impact on your future. You will be able to turn dreams into reality, one deliberate action at a time.

I’m Chelsea.

You deserve a safe and comforting environment to facilitate healing, and I'm here to provide that space for you.

Taking the first step is often the hardest. You’re struggling — maybe you don’t fully know why — and you’ve reached a point where you don’t want to keep carrying the tough stuff alone. Starting therapy feels terrifying. People get stuck wondering where to look, who to choose, whether it will fit their budget, and whether it will actually help. Then, once you begin, therapy asks for vulnerability and opens the possibility of real change, which can be frightening.

You don’t have to navigate this alone. I can be your guide, supporter, and encourager through every stage of the process:

You’ve already done something important by recognizing the need for help. Taking the next step doesn’t mean you need to be brave alone — it means accepting support to make the process clearer and less overwhelming. When you’re ready, I’ll help you take that step in a way that feels safe and sustainable.

Specializing in…

  • Trauma is a deeply personal experience, not just a scary event. It’s what happens inside us as a result of that event—a lasting emotional and sometimes physical wound that can shake our sense of safety and change how we see the world. It often sticks around in the body and mind long after the danger has passed, showing up as anxiety, physical symptoms, or feeling disconnected. Think of it as a heavy backpack we carry daily, influencing our relationships, work, and overall well-being.

  • It's kind of like your brain has a million tabs open all the time, making it tough to focus on the one you actually need for school, work, or a task at home. You might find yourself constantly misplacing keys, interrupting people without meaning to, or feeling restless even when you want to relax. It's not about being lazy or not caring—it's more about a difference in brain wiring that makes organization, follow-through, and attention a real challenge.

  • Depression is much more than just a passing case of the blues; it’s a genuine condition that can cast a heavy shadow over every part of your life. It often feels like a persistent weight that makes daily tasks—like getting out of bed or connecting with loved ones—feel incredibly difficult. If you find yourself experiencing a consistently low mood, a lack of interest in things you once loved, changes in sleep or appetite, and pervasive feelings of hopelessness, you are definitely not alone, and these are signs that it may be time to seek support in counseling.

  • Anxiety often feels like an internal alarm system that won't turn off. It’s that constant buzz of "what if" playing on loop in your head, a feeling of unease that sticks with you whether you're trying to work, socialize, relax, or sleep. It can show up as a racing heart, sweaty palms, or simply an overwhelming sense of worry about everyday things, making even small decisions feel huge. Essentially, it's your mind and body preparing for danger that isn't always there, making it tough to feel present and calm in the moment.

Panic is that intense, sudden jolt of extreme fear that makes your heart pound and thoughts race. It can feel like everything is spinning out of control. It's an overwhelming physical and mental reaction, and it often feels like you need to escape the situation immediately, even if there's no real danger present.

I can also help with:

  • Grief & loss

  • School problems

  • Bullying

  • Women’s issues

  • Religious trauma

What is Individual Therapy?

Individual therapy is a one-on-one, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with the support of a trained therapist. Sessions are tailored to you—your goals, challenges, and strengths—so the work moves at a pace that feels safe and meaningful.

In individual therapy, your therapist listens without judgment and works collaboratively with you to identify patterns, develop insight, and practice tools that support emotional well-being. The focus is on helping you feel more empowered, grounded, and connected—both to yourself and to others.
